Four Corners is the business line of AHCG, specialized in recruiting high profile professionals in the Fashion, Luxury and Lifestyle market. On behalf of an important client, we are now looking for an:

 

International Retail HR Manager

 

The ideal candidate is a professional with a strong personal culture and with an effective experience as HR Manager, preferably within a well-structured Retail Company operating in the Fashion and Luxury Field.

He/She will work to develop and implement HR strategies and programs that drive the Retail business performance at an international level.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the Client’s business strategy and operations;
  • Monitor Retail HR costs, defining and respecting also single stores’ budgets;
  • Activation and management of recruiting processes also in collaboration with local HH and working on specific databases;
  • Direct selection of candidates (preliminary interviews, pre-selections and interviews)
  • Management of the training tools;
  • Definition and supervision of incentive programs as well as measurement and evaluation of company performances;
  • Pro-actively build relationships with partners to understand business requirements, challenges, and recommend relevant talent solutions;
  • Create effective onboarding tools for new hires;
  • Manage talent, implement a performance management program aligned with cultural and behavioral expectations, and create effective short and long term development strategies;
  • Create an environment of trust, accountability, and collaboration;
  • Partner with Retail Manager, Store Management and Wholesale team to identify needs and provide feedback;
  • Follow up with managers after on-boarding new employees in order to ensure that it is effective and complete in a timely manner.

 

The ideal candidate outlined above shows the following characteristics:

 

  • About 5-10 years of experience in HR roles within the Fashion/Luxury Retail business in the international market;
  • Knowledge of Retail HR regulations in Italy and at least in a couple of other European countries;
  • Knowledge of the induction and training models for the retail staff;
  • Knowledge and management of the relationships with local recruiters for the retail sector;
  • Undergraduate degree is preferred;
  • Solid understanding of labor and compliance programs for European Region;
  • Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills;
  • Business acumen and intellectual curiosity;
  • Independent but with well-developed collaboration skills;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Availability to travel frequently;
  • Fluency in English, the knowledge of another European language is considered a plus.
